Abstract: E-commerce is now one of the most important ways for businesses to grow in a sustainable way in the modern global economy. This is because digital technologies are becoming more common. E-commerce can help the environment and society by combining economic viability, environmental responsibility, and social inclusion. This is in addition to making businesses more efficient and helping them grow in new markets. This paper looks at how e-commerce can help businesses grow in a way that is good for the environment, society, and the economy. The study uses a conceptual and descriptive research design based on a systematic review of secondary data from peer-reviewed journals, industry reports, and policy documents. It looks at how e-commerce helps businesses grow in a way that is good for the environment by lowering costs, optimizing the digital supply chain, making better use of resources, and making it easier for small and medium-sized businesses to reach new markets. The study also looks at how e- commerce can help with digital platforms and cashless transactions to promote openness, customer engagement, and entrepreneurship that includes everyone. The results show that e-commerce helps businesses grow in a sustainable way by making them less reliant on physical infrastructure, making inventory management more efficient, and allowing decisions to be made based on data. But problems like more packaging waste, carbon emissions from shipping, cybersecurity risks, and the digital divide could make it less effective at making things more sustainable. The paper says that using green logistics, eco-friendly packaging, ethical data practices, and supportive regulatory frameworks can make e-commerce much more sustainable.

The study's conclusion is that e-commerce can be a powerful tool for long-term business growth if it is planned in a way that is consistent with sustainability principles. It gives policymakers and business leaders ideas on how to use digital commerce to help the economy grow in a way that is good for the environment.
