Introduction- Rajasthan
is the largest state in the country, with an area of 342 thousand square
kilometers, accounting for over 10% of India’s total area. About 75 million
people, around 5.5% of the national population, live in the state. Roughly 75%
live in rural areas. The per capita income is just above Rs 1,00,000, which is
lower than the national average. Rajasthan has an advantageous geographical
location. It touches six major states of India: Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Uttar
Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat.
